Life

Well, life has been crazy this past week. Last Sunday I was released at Ward Choir Director. I have been in there for about a 1 1/2 yrs. Lots of work, but I loved it. Even when I got burned out. no more baking EVERY weekend. Well, I have to admit....2 weeks ago I didn't make anything since it was fast sunday...so later that night, I HAD to make something. So I made Peanut Butter Cookies, remember how much I LOVE PB? Anyways, I am now the Ward Activities Chair. We have a ward family activity coming up on Feb. 14th at the Oakland Temple. What better day to spend with your family here on Earth and the rest up in Heaven on Valentine's Day!!!! I have a lot to do, so I hope my committee is ready!!!!!

Business wise....I have been busy too. I had an order for 24 bows from a shop that I have my bows at in Danville. I just have 3 more bows to make then I will be done. I have an order from Etsy for 2 Tag blankets and 1 Zebra & Pink swirl all minky blanket. IT'S AWESOME. I will post pics later. I also made a Cow with a cobalt and white two toned minky swirl. I also made a few blankets with cotton backing on one side and Minky dot on the other...pics later. ADORABLE. I was so excited to make these. I have also been busy making Nursing Covers/Hooter Hiders, whatever you want to call them. I have some super cute patters right now. Within the next few days I should have about 5 of those avail.

Other than that we are doing well. Larry job has gotten a tiny bit less stressful, but secure!!!! Everyone needs car insurance and there are TONS of accidents everyday that need Claims Adjusters!!!! We hope everyone's new years is off to a good start!!!!!

Peanut Butter Chocolate MADNESS!!!

So, for those of you who DON'T know. I LOVE Chocolate and Peanut Butter...yes, together. I will even add a few heaping tablespoons of PB into my Choc. Ice Cream. Anywho...I came across this awesome recipe for PB Choc. Brownies....and I HAD to make them!!! I got it from my Betty Crocker FREE Calendar. I missed mine from 2007, I was too late in ordering a free one for 2008, so I made sure to get one for 2009...YIPPIE!

Brownie Base
1 box (1 lb 6.5 oz) Betty Crocker® Original Supreme brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
Filling (pic above)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups powdered sugar
2-4 teaspoons milk

Topping
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1.Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray or shortening. (For easier cutting, line pan with foil, then grease foil on bottom only of pan.)
2.In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, pouch of chocolate syrup, water, oil and eggs until well blended. Spread in pan. Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
3.In medium bowl, beat filling ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Spread mixture evenly over brownie base.
4.In small microwavable bowl, microwave topping ingredients uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds; stir until smooth. Cool 10 minutes; spread over filling. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set. For brownies, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.
