BBQ

Ok, so Larry was so sweet when he finally agreed to buy the LifeTime 6' Folding Picnic Table at Costco. I pleaded my case thoroughly by adding that every where else it was being sold was at least $50 MORE. So, last night we had BBQ chicken and we enjoyed the evening OUTSIDE at the table! :)

Sarah's Smiles 8-10 weeks

It was so cute. Maddie & Kylie were getting tons of smiles out of Sarah...she was so worn out that within a few mins she was out cold! The GROW WITH ME pics are from her 10 week picture. I love how the bow covers her eyes! She fell asleep like that!

Clouds

Ok, so I LOVE cloud formations. Weird? Oh well! The first picture was about 7 am and then next with the white puffy clouds was around 2 pm the same day. So beautiful! What a wonderful creation that we take for granted!

Life at my house

**Blessing Dress pics & Mother's Day**

(This is from an email I sent out)...

Well, we made it to ten weeks and all is well. Saturday, I was sick, but thank goodness I am better today. Life goes on no matter how many kids you have! We had a great time with Family and friends for Sarah's Blessing, and also on Mother's Day.
Maddie is excited there are only 9 more days of school left. Kylie is excited for Joy School to start in the Fall. And Miss Sarah...she's just happy to get fed, changed, and get lots of attention. At her 2 mo. check up she was 10 lbs 10 oz. She loves to smile, but she's not laughing yet, and the girls love to hold her and make noises and faces to get a reaction out of her. She will even let me sleep for at least 6 hrs at night if I time it right. Sarah is super patient with all of us, especially ME! They ALL are! Larry is doing good with work. He works 4- 10 hr days, Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat. Sat & Mon are his killer days. He's been great chipping away at his honey-do-list!
We have been getting crazy weather lately. The lows are in the 70's and highs are already in the 90's. We had a few small tornadoes touch down about 30 miles south of us. The kids have the drills in school. I guess Maddie's SAFE place in school is the BOYS bathroom...that's another story! We haven't had hail here yet, thank goodness!
Me...well, of course I stay busy! I have had a few orders for bows, and baby stuff from return clients (yay), and then even a new one who saw the back of my van!!! My ward has had a ton of babies and some more to come. So far there have been 5 babies born this year, and at least 2 are preggo right now. I have had fun making diaper cakes, burps, blankets, bows, etc. for them. I still TRY to keep up on the house, some days are better than others. People always say the 3rd kid throws you off....for me-not to much having the THIRD, but just the fact of having another baby. Maddie & Kylie are pretty patient and self sufficient, so that helps a TON! I am still baking (too much) and loving it. i have been trying to attempt homemade cupcakes....not too thrilled so far. I still prefer the boxes.

well, this is my life as of week 10 having 3 kids. We are excited for Summer (we will be finding lots of things to do indoors) and will accomodate any visitors we may get. We won't be traveling anytime soon. Sorry! We miss you all!

Fort Worth Zoo

Well, I am trying to catch up on the recent adventures, and I forgot about the ZOO trip. It was the first time we have gone to the zoo since we moved here. Maddie went with her 1st grade class a few months ago, so she was really excited to go again. The problem was that it was a THURSDAY that we were going.....so I took her out of school and called it a mini vacation. Technically it was. In our van...Mom, Rick, Larry, Sarah, Kylie, Maddie and I. Yep, a FULL car. I was squeezed in between Kylie's and Maddie's car seat in the back row. Good thing it was only 30 minutes to the Zoo.
Wait a minute.....BEFORE we even got to leave....We woke up to find that one panel of our crappy fence fell over. We have a weird shaped yard and we have a neighbor on the side, back and then in between the two we share a corner fence of about 12 feet with another neighbor. That corner neighbor has 8 foot fencing and instead of 4x4 center posts, they have 8" metal posts connecting the wood panels. So....this means that our first panel on the back fence didn't have anything to screw into since the connecting post was metal. So what did the prior owners do????? They tied it with a rope. SERIOUSLY? 1 rope. Dumb. They could have been more creative. So, we have had some crazy strong wind and down the fence came. We are lucky it was only that panel. Our fence is 8 yrs old, but with the wind and humidity here in TX, the fences don't last that long. Especially when they do NOT cement in the 4x4 center posts. STUPID. I can't wait until we have the $$$$$ to replace the fence PROPERLY!
So, ...oh wait....rewind some more.....Wed (the day before we went to the zoo) I notice the back driver tire of the van was SUPER low. Larry put air in it on Wed night, but it was still pretty bad on Thurs morning, so he took it in to get checked. Yep...there was a metal object in it...so they fixed it and he was on his way.....While he was gone, Mom, Rick, the girls and I were waiting for him to get back and that is when we saw the fence!
.........so, I called Larry about the dumb fence while he was gone. Rick & I went out there to try to re-tie the stupid rope....it worked for a whole 10 seconds before it totally fell apart and broke. So, I went in the garage and found edging twine. Thank goodness we had some extra. The fence panel was totally damaged. Out of the 3 horizontal beams, the bottom one was broken and had about a foot missing at one end. Luckily when Larry got home we found better rope, a new bottom horizontal beam and 1 extra plank. When it fell it also broke a few of the old planks, we only had one extra of those, so Larry was crawling back and forth between the yards through the panel (thank goodness he fit-LOL) We did all we could, and then yesterday the neighbors bought 6 new planks and nailed them up. So.....until further notice...the fence will hold....that is until the weathered and rotten posts give out...BLAH!
OK....So....after fixing everything....we met Lynette and the kids at the zoo around 12 noon. We saw all sorts of animals of course. They loved the new Museum of Living Art (snakes, amphibians, ect), the Texas area, the Aviary (Maddie got the birds on her seed stick, while Kylie ONLY wanted to feed the BLUE birds-LOL), and many more things.
We left around 5pm when they closed. We were planning on going to dinner that night, but we were cutting it to close since Larry had Home Teaching to do, so we just relaxed at home and had pasta. Fun day! Thanks to Mom & Rick for paying. And yes....you are BOTH SENIORS...LOL

Joe Pool Lake Marina

This lake is just a few minutes from our house. We haven't ventured out too much since we moved here until now. My Mom, Rick, my girls, Lynette & her BF Richard and Ella and Brett (Lynette's kids) all went to the marina by our house. Here's some of the pics. There was live music, ugly Carp fish, baby ducklings (even with a single black duck), lunch area and ice cream of course. We will have to go have lunch there sometime! The kids fed the fish and they were jumping all over each other out of the water, then came along the baby ducks. So sad. They were hungry too, so they swam towards the bread which happend to be in the middle of the carp. Poor duckies!!! I thought the fish were going to swallow them whole! LOL. The fish were swiming on top of each other and then the ducks ended up walking on top of the fish! So weird to watch. I don't think the mama duck lost any. There were about 20 total.
