Pics from Suzanna Dodson! She did a FANTASTIC job. More to come soon!

Life

ok...so it's been FOREVER! Sorry. Life gets in the way, and so does FB! LOL! Well, Sarah is 7.5 mo. old and refuses to roll over. She's a pro at spinning on her tummy and is our little lazy Susan (Sarah). She loves to sit up and her sisters LOVE to have her constant attention! Maddie doing great in school and Kylie loves Joy School. Me...you know I keep myself busy. I have a few projects that I have been wanting to do...but I am a PRO procrastinator. I did make a few quilts and crafty things recently, and I did make the girls Witches TUTUs for halloween. Maddie convinced me to dress up and I normally NEVER do, but I figured...hey why not! Thank goodness I had this outfit (for like 13 yrs) and the hawaiian necklaces and a fun flower. Sarah was a Cat. So sweet. She fell asleep as we went trick or treating around the neighborhood.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!! I WON the chili cook off for a combined ward cook off! OH YEAH!!!!!! I was soooo excited! 2 years in a row!

I love how he made the rainbow so i will make a perfect reflection in the mirror!!!

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.........

Baird Family Time

We had a great time with my family in town. We haven't all been together since my dad's funeral almost 6 yrs ago. Here's some fun pics! These are from the night before the wedding.

Rain Dance

Well, the day after Lynette's backyard wedding.....it POURED down rain. Kicker is that it was only a 10% chance of rain. It was like a monsoon. I was straightening my hair in our bathroom when I hear the big rain drops hitting the side of the house, so I came out to tell everyone it had started to rain. I was trying to flat iron my hair so Natalie could cut it since it's easier that way....but...I went out on the porch when I heard that Natalie(sister), Bailey(11yr old nephew), Maddie, Kylie & Roger (brother) were running outside in the rain. My hair went frizzy all over again. Oh well. It was hilarious watching them!!!! Keri (Lynette's friend from Modesto) was holding Sarah while my mom & I were taking pictures on the porch. Even though we were not IN the rain...we still got soaked from it blowing at us. This storm came out of nowhere. Thank goodness the wedding was the night before. And thank goodness I told the guys to take down the paper laterns the night before from the reception or else they would have been ruined! Quite a TEXAS storm. It was wonderful. I am glad I was able to share that with my family!

Summer

ok...so where to I begin? Ok...so Aug 1st I turned 31. yay me. I went to dinner with Larry (we haven't had a date with just the two of us in a long time), and then I went to dinner with a few friends from the ward.
Maddie lost her 8th tooth...she's so proud that she's pulled out 4 teeth all on her own.
And I cut her hair right before school started. She had been begging me for weeks to cut it, but I have to admit it looks adorable. She also started 2nd grade this yr.
Oh yeah...Natalie chopped mine off the night before my family left. I do NOT miss my long hair!!!!
Lynette & Richard got married Aug 14th. Pics in another post.
All of my family left my brother Brian was still here for a few days, and I was watching Lynette's kids for a few days when she was on her honeymoon, so Brian wanted to get us a present. A BETTA Fish, ours is named Jasper.
Sorry it's a crazy post, but I am trying to catch up.

4th of July

Well, this 4th of July we were actually settled in our house...unlike last year when we weren't even unpacked yet. Since it was a sunday this year we went to our ward and had a great Fast and Testimony Meeting. I actually got up and bore MY testimony....and I NEVER do that. My heart was full of GRATITUDE. It's funny since that what the lesson was on in my primary class that day. I said how I was grateful for my family (of course) and for our health, and my class, for the military troops and their families (Diane's hubby Blake just got home from Iraq the Friday before), for the Gospel and how grateful I am that I have been a member my whole life, and how grateful I am for the Book of Mormon! I am trying to follow the stake reading schedule to read the whole thing before next stake conf. So far so good!!! Anyways, it was funny, I was holding Sarah, but I didn't mind, so I walked up with her...she was like a shield. BUT...of course she started making tons of chatter, so a YW came to hold her for me! My shield was GONE! :( . I make a joke since I actually got up there and brought a little cheat sheet with the things I wanted to say. Oh well, at least I didn't forget anything....oh wait I DID! And Larry reminded me when I sat down....I forgot to say how much I LOVE him and the girls. SORRY SWEETIE!
So....for celebrating the 4th....We went to Fabian's for dinner then went with Fabian and his family to a nearby shopping center where they set off fireworks. We took over a few parking spaces and enjoyed each others company and watch the fun fireworks. I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July. Thank you to all who have served, currently serve, and who will serve our wonderful country. And bless the their families!

Quilt

Ok, so I made a Humpty Dumpty quilt a while ago and I had some left over fabric. So here's what I did. I am selling this on Etsy for $85. I designed it and had a lot of fun.

Pool

Well, we got an above ground pool and we really like it so far except for the fact that it is NOT LEVEL. We emptied it and put landscaping edging and 12 bags of sand under to fix it...but we didn't put enough. Next year we will have a better idea how to do it. other than that it works great. Maddie is taking swim lessons right now and it in level 4. yay! Kylie is trying to get use to the water so we will put her in lessons next summer. We haven't put Sarah in yet, she's not to sure of the water, and I don't really want diaper clad babes in the pool! It has been really really hot outside the past few weeks..mid 90's all day, so we haven't had a problem trying to get the water to heat up. it was already up to 95 degrees in the pool a few days ago...waaaay to hot. it's like a hot tub. Oh well. At least by 6pm the pool is covered in shade. Here's a few fun pics!

Maddie's School Program

Well, I am trying to get pictures off of my camera so we can have enough room on there....so here's some pics from Maddie's 1st Grade Program. Super cute!
