Maddie's last Soccer game

Well.....she did it.....she made 2 complete goals by herself...unassisted! We were so excited. Her Kindergarten teach even came to cheer her and another girl on the team (Madison) on. Larry was able to come and so were his parents. After the game, I took Maddie, Kylie & my in-laws to the Ice Cream Company. It was SO yummy! Here are some pics from the day so far. Tonight we have our ward Halloween Party-more pics tomorrow. BOO!!!!

Got a 72 Hour Kit or Food Storage started???

http://safelygatheredin.blogspot.com/ food storage and kit ideas and recipes. Week by week.

Great reference above! We have slowly been gathering things for our 72 hr kit for the past 5 years...yeah, I know we are SLOW!!! Anyways, we finally condensed everything to a large duffle/suit case. We bought an awesome Samsonite red bag @ Costco last week for only $35. And also a great back pack for $15. The suit case/duffle is a rolling one....but it can also be worn as a backpack for those SUPER strong people!!! We can fit everything we need for the 4 of us in it! It has tons of pockets and cinchers. We put the food and heavier items on the bottom and the softer things on the top in the duffle bag part. The duffle can be loaded from either the top or bottom. It has made me more motivated to get more things done with regards to food storage. It seems so overwhelming, but we need to get it done little by little. Don't forget to add all of the important family info and paper work. We have added SS copies, birth certs, marr. cert, patriar. blessing, copies of title of cars, insurance info, medical info, shot records, etc. And don't forget to have CA$H on hand too.

Here's a list of what you need:

Maddie lost her 1st tooth!!!

Well, yesterday Maddie had to go to the dentist again to get 2 cavities filled. She was more nervous this time than last. Ever since she went last time she's been wiggiling her tooth that the dentist said was loose. So everyday, many times a day, she asked when it would fall out. Sooooo....finally yesterday it was very loose and we figured that since she was going to the dentist anyways...he could just pull it out. So, thankfully he did. I took a pic before and after. She was so excited for the tooth fairy to come last night, and she did. I had given the tooth fairy a Hello Kitty necklace that Maddie wanted and then the T.F. added a whole $1 bill (because it was the first tooth). She was soooo happy! Oh, another thing for Maddie.....she finally scored a goal in soccer...YEAH!

YES on PROP 8

This video shows what one family went through trying to protect their child (a Kindergartener) from being introduced to same sex marriages in school. It is amazing what the school board did to this family…

Kylie's NEW Hair Cut / 10 Yr. Anniv.

So, I finally did it. Kylie's hair underneath wasn't growing as fast as the top, so I decided to chop it yesterday. I cut more off that I thought I was going to--about 4 inches. I was a bit worried. But after fixing it up today I LOVE it! I ussed a curling iron to flip it out. She loves to get all cutsie! Thank goodness.

Oh, by the way, it was mine & Larry's 10 year anniversary yesterday. Yippie. He took the day off of work and we ran some errands, picked Maddie up from school and then had soccer. For dinner we went to Olive Garden, he had to get the NeverEnding Pasta Bowl. THe first bowl is HUGE, then the other ones are tiny. Sooooooo, he ate the first 2 bowls with the meaballs and sausg. links...yuck. Then he was able to take home the 3rd. He was so happy. I had the Tour of Italy....of course I couldn't decide. I remember now that I don't like the Lasagna. Oh well. We had a great day and i love him very much. Ten down, ETERNITY to go!

Girly time

Well, Maddie & Kylie love getting each other ready. They try to get in my make-up, but then they get in BIG trouble, so they stick with doing hair and fake make-up. This is just one of the many times they are perfectly happy playing with each other. But 2 mins. later they were fighting, oh well, it can only last for so long.
