Girly time

Well, Maddie & Kylie love getting each other ready. They try to get in my make-up, but then they get in BIG trouble, so they stick with doing hair and fake make-up. This is just one of the many times they are perfectly happy playing with each other. But 2 mins. later they were fighting, oh well, it can only last for so long.

Favorite CD's

Ok, So a few months ago I got the "Queen's- Greatest Hits" CD and I play it all the time. It is now one of Maddie's favorite CD. She asks for the "We Will Rock You" song everyday. It's so cute to hear her singing the songs. Nooooooow, Kylie has started to do that too. WAaaaaaaayyy Funny. Today when we were in the parking lot waiting in line to pick up Maddie I asked Kylie if she wanted to listen to some music. Thinking she'd just say yes and I would play the children's song tape that's in there too. But....NOPE. She said over and over...."We Will, We Will"!!!!! HAAAAAAA it was so funny I had to call Larry and let him listen to her singing that part of the song. She doesn't quite get the "rock you" part yet, but I know she will. Gotta love "Queen". Maddie's other fav. CD is the Josh Groban "Awake". I need to play that one more. She even tried to sing in the diff. languages. She can also tell me what number track of song she wants and she recognizes it within the first 2 bars. Yeah, I am so glad my girls enjoy music like I do!

Evans Family Fun

Well, a few weekends ago we got together with Larry's parents and 2 of his brothers. Matt & family from Las Vegas, and Nate & Family from Winters (they live ON a hill!!!) We had a great BBQ and lots of fun in Winters. That was on Sunday. Then on Monday we all got together again (minus Nate, but adding my sis-in-law Liz and her 4 kiddos.) We spent forever at McDonalds. First of all, the only reason I ever go there is for the Hot Fudge Sundaes. There were 9 grandkids running around (ok, 2 were babies) and 8 adults trying to keep track of all of them. At least the play sctructure was enclosed. No one got hurt, but Camryn lost her tooth while bitting into a french fry. We had so much fun getting together. I know it will be a while until we get that many grandkids together again (we were missing 3 other boy cousins). We will miss Ryan & Liz and Fam when they move to AZ. Come back soon and safely. And of course we miss the family that doesn't live close by. Here's a few pics from the weekend.

Maddie 1st Soccer game GO WILDCATS !!!!

Well, we were wondering how today would go, and it actually went very well. All of the 9 girls looked adorable and they all had fun. We made 3-4 goals before the other team. They were on a roll. All of the girls on the team (and the coaches older team) bought Purple Pony-O's from me. They looked super cute in their hair. During the practices, Maddie was one of the better ones, but today she ran a bit behind the pack. Last night we kept asking her....."So what are you going to do tomorrow?" And she'd yell "KICK THE BALL!" It was cute, even Kylie got in on it. I told her she first needed to look at the ball, then run, then kick and make a goal. The swarm of girls was so cute! Some fell and tumbled, but no one got hurt or cried. They got right back up! Yeah!

(Maddie is #3)

Teacher Erica???

Ok, so I went to the new and fabulous fabric store in Manteca, LadyBug Quilts. The owner is Jennifer. I went there to check out some new fabric since JoAnn's has a poor selection. Yesterday, I went back to show her some of the fun things I have created lately. And......she is having me teach a class on how to make my Crayon Roll. Yea, I am super excited. I will be teaching it in Manteca at the store on Saturday, October 11 from 2-5pm. Sign up now to reserve your spot. It is $20 for the class. Please come and have some fun!
