Japanese Botanical Garden, Fort Worth, TX

Last Sat. we went here with Suzanna and her girls. We had a great time. It was the first outdoor day trip with Sarah and she did great. I found online that the garden was having a Spring Festival, and Larry was working, so I convinced Suz to go with me!!! THANK YOU!!! We loved all of the trees and the huge Japanese Maples, red and green. The paths winded around and we went over bridges. The girls all loved feeding the HUGE koi fish. We had lunch at one of the pavillions, then kept exploring around. Since I had Sarah in the stroller and the sling, I couldn't go EVERYWHERE. There were lots of stairs and there were MANY people who helped get us up and down! Well, I am typing this with 1 hand, so I am sorry if it seems choppy, it is hard to type with a flow when typing with 1 hand...plus I have to back space a lot and get creative with finger placement. wow, I am impressing myself!!! Well, here some pics!

Easter and a few other cute pics.

For Easter we invited our friends The Dodsons over for dinner. They are one of the 3 families in the ward that have 3 girls just like us. We had FABULOUS food and great company. The girls had fun (for the most part when they weren't fighting and tattling on each other) hiding the eggs and playing outside. The pic. of Sarah in the pink outfit was a last minute "oh no....it's her First EASTER and we didn't get a picture of her". At least we remembered!

Nana came to town!

So last week my mom left. She was here from Wed - Tues. We had a great time. Going out to lunch, dinner, going to an Easter Egg Hunt in Dallas @ Lynette's ward, going to church, having family over, had Maddie's open house, bought cowgrl hats, and going shopping. Busy Busy Busy. The girls loved having her here and also getting more attention. And of course she brought them little gifts that they love. Here's a few pics from her visit.
